Job Description

Munson, Inc. is hiring a detail-oriented, customer-focused Fencing Sales & Project Manager to join our growing Fence Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both relationship-building and technical project oversight, with the ability to manage fencing projects from estimate to completion across commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, including general contractors, property managers, and residential clients
  • Qualify leads and participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and industry networking
  • Represent Munson with professionalism and accuracy in all client communications

Estimating & Proposal Development

  • Interpret site plans, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate fencing estimates and responsive proposals.
  • Clarify scope of work, identify exclusions, and resolve plan discrepancies
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material pricing and lead times

Project Oversight

  • Serve as a liaison between sales, operations, and clients from award through project completion
  • Track deliverables, changes, and timelines to ensure project success
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and resolve any issues with a solution-focused approach

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fencing sales, construction sales, or project management
  • Ability to read site plans and construction documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred:

  • Experience with fencing types (e.g., ornamental, security, chain link, automated gates)
  • Knowledge of municipal bid procedures or working with public sector clients
  • Exposure to CAD layouts or fencing takeoff software is a plus
