Job Description

We are currently hiring a Physician - Pediatrician to join our team of healthcare professionals providing services to Military Service Members and their families at Fort Drum in NY.
Position Details:

Requirements:

* Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. or Canada.
* Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an accredited internship and residency program in Pediatrics.
* Experience: Clinical competency within the past two years in Pediatrics, with at least 32 hours of patient treatment within the specialty in the last 24 months.
* Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
* Licensure: Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine as a Pediatrician.
* Board Certification: American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
* Continuing Medical Education (CME): Documentation required within one month of CME-accredited events.

Job Responsibilities:

* Perform a full range of physician services as per privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility.
* Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and annual physicals, including patient education and counseling.
* Diagnose, treat, and prescribe within your scope of training and privileges.
* Order diagnostic tests and refer patients as necessary.
* Teach and mentor medical staff and provide in-service training and educational lectures adhering to clinical protocols and standards.
