Ace Hardware Home Services of NJ is an established, growth-oriented HVAC company with locations in Linwood and Pittsgrove, NJ. Ace Hardware Home Services has a growing roster of services which now include plumbing, cooling, heating, and electrical. Ace is now better positioned to serve more homeowners who are seeking to have many home maintenance projects completed for them in a quality manner performed by trained professionals from brands they can trust.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the warehouse team to serve the needs of our entire team and customers in an efficient and reliable manner. This individual will communicate with the team, customers and management regarding all work performed in a timely and routine basis. This is critical to the success of this position. A professional appearance and behavior must be maintained at all times.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a 7000 sq foot warehouse in a fast-paced environment
• Assign and assist with workloads and daily tasks to purchasers and warehouse associates
• Oversee receiving and stocking of materials
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Implement processes and procedures to maintain and improve operational efficiencies
• Pick orders and load trucks for delivery
• Occasionally make deliveries in a 10 to 15’ box, pick-up truck, or cargo van
• Pick up/load homeowner orders from suppliers and help load/unload at job site
• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and vehicles
• Ability to work weekdays and some Saturdays
• Complete team requests to aid in creating a “Red Bow Experience”
• Willingness to learn about HVAC systems, materials, supplies
• Ensure fleet of vehicles are properly maintained
• Additional duties as required

What you'll need to succeed:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 4 years’ experience in fast-paced warehouse setting with a clear knowledge of warehouse operations OR equivalent field experience in the trades required
• 2 years’ experience effectively managing people required
• Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently
• Proficiency in inventory and/or invoice software, knowledge of ServiceTitan preferred
• Strong work ethic: reliable, dependable, punctual
• Friendly “service” attitude
• Detail Oriented and Organized
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize and proact
• Resourceful and not satisfied in being a task-performer
• Eager to exceed expectations
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a safe and efficient manner
• Must have driver’s license with clean record and able to drive box trucks, Sprinters, cargo vans and pick-up trucks (Required)
• Able to favorably pass a background check and drug screen (Required)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, files, copier, etc.
• Physical dexterity in limbs and digits to operate hand and power-driven tools and equipment commonly used.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to continually walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, reach in all directions.
• Ability to maintain balance working off the ground using ladders, scaffolds, and/or mechanical lifts.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in high, precarious places.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold.
• Ability to see and read with or without vision aids.
• Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
• Ability to perform maintenance duties and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Job Specifics:

Position Status: Regular full-time (40+ hours a week)

FLSA Description: Exempt/Salaried

Reports To: General Manager

Work Schedule: 8+ hours/day, 5+ days per week
