AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Transportation ITS & Traffic Engineer to join our ITS/Traffic team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
Participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks. These tasks may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.
Prepare reports working under the close review of an experienced professional.
Support staff on site visits by assisting in record-keeping and in generating progress reports.
Research the feasibility of design approaches, site conditions, and/or regulatory agency specifications or regulations.
Perform engineering calculations.
Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
Perform other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
Coordinate within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
0-2 Years of professional experience in related technical field.
EDUCATION:
Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
Math skills to perform simple calculations.
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or OpenRoads (preferred)
Proficient interpersonal and communication skills.
Willingness to learn!
PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS:
E.I. or E.I.T. (preferred)

Expected compensation range is between $56,700 - $94,500 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
