RETS has been retained by a one-of-a-kind $4B+ commercial real estate (mixed-use) development in Orange County to recruit a Real Estate Financial Planning & Reporting Manager to support FP&A, financial reporting, and accounting functions across a national portfolio. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to drive efficiency and insights across capital planning, development, operations, and strategy. The role is based in Anaheim, CA and reports directly to the SVP of Finance & Accounting. Previous FP&A real estate experience is strongly desired. Key Responsibilities Lead annual and long-term planning processes, including capital and funding strategy Build and maintain cash flow planning tools and automated reporting templates Develop dashboards for development, operations, and key performance indicators Prepare financial reports and statements aligned with GAAP standards Partner with accounting on reconciliations, project budgets, and tax planning support Provide ad hoc analysis and strategic insights to executive leadership What We’re Looking For ~3+ years in real estate-focused FP&A or financial reporting ~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field ~ Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros); experience with Yardi, Power BI, and/or DataFreedom is a plus. ~ Strong analytical mindset and ability to present data clearly ~ Familiarity with real estate metrics, project-level forecasting, and market trends Compensation: $120,000 - 150,000 This is a full-time, on-site position offering a chance to shape processes and reporting for a highly complex, multi-phased, mixed-use real estate development.
