Overview

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the pharmacist intern shall prepare, dispense and distribute medication and provide clinical monitoring and drug information in a manner, which ensures optimal patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Enrolled in or a recent graduate of an accredited pharmacy school. Experience: Previous Inpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and experience in unit dose, IV admixture, and therapeutics. License/Certifications: Current California Pharmacy Intern license. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card.

PAY RANGE

$21.00 - $29.12 The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
