*Job Description *
We are seeking Nurse Practitioners who will manage the primary health care of patients with respect and understanding. This includes diagnosing and treating illnesses with compassion, prescribing medications thoughtfully, ordering tests with consideration for the patient's experience, and providing patient education with empathy and clarity. This role emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention with a focus on the patient's overall well-being and often involves a high degree of independent action while following established standards, procedures and practices under the direction of the Supervising Physician.
*Patient Care & Treatment *
Offer holistic and patient-centered care, focusing on the whole person and their individual needs. Emphasize prevention, education, and shared decision-making, building long-term relationships to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for families across the lifespan.
Provide nursing care in a positive manner that is consistent with the policies, objectives, goals, mission and vision of the hospital and nursing department.
*Collaborative Teamwork *
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
*Qualifications *
* Graduate of an accredited academic Nurse Practitioner program.
* Certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
* Completed coursework to apply for DEA number.
* FNP experience of at least one year preferred in a family practice setting.
* Knowledge of rural clinics, billing and office set-up, experience preferred.
* English proficiency required; Spanish a plus.
