Thinkpath Engineering Services is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work onsite at a customer located in Ottawa, ON. This is a contract position expected to last at least 1 year, with strong potential to be extended.

The project will involve design support on a military vehicle program. The design, modeling and detailing will be done using Inventor. This will not be conceptual design.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in mechanical design

· Degree or diploma in mechanical design

· Proficiency with 3D CAD software (preferably Inventor)

· Ability to design, model and detail

· Ability to spec out materials would be a plus

· Candidates MUST be able to receive a CGP clearance, so Canadian citizenship or Permanent residency is required.
