About the Role:

The Legal Intern will support the General Counsel in the completion of day-to-day tasks pertaining to legal files and customer contracts. The role will be heavily focused on contract law, with an exposure to other various legal functions. The role is entirely on-site, with an expectation of 20 hours per week and a commitment of up to 8 weeks, with a flexible start date.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a legal studies program.
• Strong academic performance in relevant legal coursework.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with contract law and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing/standardizing/organizing legal files, including customer contracts and Board and committee minutes.
• Standardizing templates for customer contracts and Board/committee minutes and resolutions.
• Assisting with turning legal contracts (implementing/reviewing changes from General Counsel).

Skills:

The required skills for this position include a strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail is critical when reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and TARGAN standards.
