Our client, a public REIT, is seeking a seeking a finance lending counsel for their New York office. They deal with mostly all viable asset classes in the RE arena and are growing in the office, multi-family and hospitality space. At this point, all of their investments are U.S. based, and they have approximately 4Billion AUM, they are in major growth mode!

Office location NY, NY and Remote on Friday

Top dollar compensation, bonus, and equity bonus (paid throughout the year), great benefits and time off

The Role -

1. Overseeing loan origination
2. All aspects of dealing with loan documents
3. Reviewing, drafting, negotiating and advising on Term sheets

Coordinating with;

• Origination team
• Asset management team
• Debt capital markets team (when pursuing a new deal or modifying an existing one)
• Direct access to the CEO and GC

Candidate Qualifications-

• 4-7 years minimum at a top AmLaw ranked firm
• JD and in good standing with the NY Bar
• Ideally focused on lender-side, though a strong borrower-side candidate will be considered
• Well-spoken and strong business mind
• The drive to grow and succeed with a highly motivated team
