Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Controller for our well established & growing Manufacturing client in Washington, NC. The Controller will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the manufacturing organization, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role involves working closely with leadership to provide insights for informed decision-making and identifying areas for cost reductions and strengthening operating profiting margins. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports. Conduct financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for business improvements. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed. Cash Flow Management: Oversee daily cash flow and ensure that the organization has adequate liquidity to meet operational needs. Manage the company’s working capital, ensuring that accounts receivable and accounts payable are efficiently handled. Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies and mitigate risks. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term financial strategies for growth and sustainability. Sales forecasting working with CFO & Sales Leader BOM cost analysis for cost savings opportunities & analyzing gross profit margins by quarter to analyze trends Quarterly gathering of cost & pricing information for review Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function. Ad hoc reporting for senior leadership Requirements: BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field 5+ years of Accounting experience Manufacturing Industry experience required ERP Systems experience Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing finance teams effectively. Proficient in financial analysis and financial accounting principles for a manufacturing company. Strong knowledge of GAAP standards Excellent budgeting skills with a focus on strategic financial planning. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Accentuate Staffing
