Mission and Vision: The North Bronx Islamic Center (NBIC) goals include assisting the whole Muslim community of North America in general and the nearby Muslim population of the North Bronx in particular. This would be accomplished in three ways: (1) by meeting their religious needs, giving them a place of worship, and classes that would help them and their children learn in-depth information about their religion, Islam; (2) by educating the American public opinion about Islam's true teachings, ideology, philosophy, and culture; (3) by giving Muslim communities in the Americas access to religious guidance, correct religious opinions, and legal judgments of the Islamic law; (4) encouraging mutual respect and goodwill between Muslims and non-Muslims.
