About the Role: The Underwriter will play a key role in analyzing financial statements, supporting business decisions, and collaborating with underwriting and finance teams to assess performance and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring 1+ years of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, or credit analysis, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret financial statements to identify trends and opportunities. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Partner with underwriting and leadership teams to evaluate financial performance and risk. Prepare reports and presentations for management review. Contribute to the development of financial models and decision-support tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis, underwriting, or credit analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. Preferred Background: Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry.
