Solar Operations Engineer – New Rochelle, NY (Onsite)
A dynamic clean energy company located in New Rochelle, NY, is seeking an Operations Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in solar operations. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to contribute to a team focused on large-scale solar projects and clean energy solutions across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee performance and operations of commercial and utility-scale solar assets
• Work with data acquisition systems (DAS) such as AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge, PowerFactors, etc.
• Analyze system performance data and support issue resolution
• Interpret design drawings to verify system accuracy and performance
• Collaborate with field teams and vendors to reduce downtime and optimize system efficiency
Qualifications:
• 2–3 years of solar-specific experience (C&I or utility-scale preferred)
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms and DAS
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical design documents
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
What’s Offered:
• Competitive salary: $115,000–$120,000 (depending on experience)
