The Retail Manager I is responsible for the delivery of outstanding customer service, achievement of growth goals, operational efficiencies, and development of Financial Service Representatives, typically in a branch with assets of less than $50MM. This position will develop and maintain client relationships utilizing the full spectrum of banking services with emphasis on First Interstate Bank's Service Commitments and in accordance with our vision and values. This is a producing position. Essential duties include facilitating integrated delivery of financial services and products, managing customer relationship management software, monitoring performance, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and quality standards, enforcing branch security, fostering positive community relations, and demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations. Management responsibilities include managing one or two branches, employee selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, termination, and coaching and mentoring employees. Qualifications include attention to detail, confidentiality, tact and diplomacy, computer skills, sales skills, coaching ability, and problem-solving skills. Education required is a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate's Degree preferred, and 1-3 years banking experience including supervisory or management experience. A valid driver's license is required. Physical demands include frequent use of hands/fingers for computer operation, frequent sitting, occasional standing, moderate noise level, and typical work hours Monday to Friday 8-5.
