Job Description

Job Purpose:

Product Owners are subject-matter experts who use their business knowledge to bridge the gap between product development and product design. They bring life to a product through the implementation of the vision and direction set forth in the product roadmap. We are looking for candidates from Title Insurance industry background who have experience in and understand the life cycle of Title & Escrow transactions especially in the Retail/Purchase market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Documenting the business requirements/features and work with the engineering team to implement the best solution
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on changing requirements
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development
  • Working with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints. All the tasks described in these Job Duties and Responsibilities are the essential functions of this job.
  • Ensuring a strong customer user experience.

Product Owner Qualifications / Skills:

  • Strong business acumen within the title industry
  • Customer first, ABCD thinking mind set
  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
  • High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of product or project development experience
  • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
