Registered Nurse (RN) – 1:1 Student Care School-Based Pediatric Position Location: Ride the school bus with student from Scotch Plains to East Hanover School Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (may be shared between two nurses) Pay Rate: $45 per hour BrightStar Care of Westfield is seeking one or two compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for an 8-year-old boy with cerebral palsy during his school day. This rewarding role includes accompanying the student on the school bus each morning from Scotch Plains to East Hanover, remaining with him throughout the school day, and returning on the bus in the afternoon (departure at 2:30 PM). The student requires G-tube feedings, daily medications, and full assistance with mobility and all ADLs. We are looking for an RN with strong pediatric or school nursing experience who is passionate about supporting a child’s safety, comfort, and success in the classroom. Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive 1:1 care for a student with cerebral palsy
• Administer G-tube feedings and daily medications
• Monitor and document the student’s condition
• Communicate effectively with school staff and care team
• Maintain accurate clinical records and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New Jersey RN license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Pediatric or school nursing background preferred
• CPR/BLS (ACLS a plus)
• Strong commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Preferred:

• BSN from an accredited program
• Residing in or near Union County for convenient commute
