Position Name: Clinical Pharmacist
Available Shifts:
Mixed Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM & 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
Night shift: 7 on 7 off - Wednesday through Tuesday – 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Shift Differentials: Evenings: $3.00/hr ; Nights: $6.00/hr Sign on: $10,000 Sign On Bonus to be paid out in 5 installments over a 2 year commitment. $2,000 on their 1st or 2nd paycheck with us and $2,000 on their 6-month check, 12-month check, 18-month check, and 24-month check.

• We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is providing general clinical and pharmacy services, including supervision of technical staff. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.
• In this role you will:
• Interpret orders and transcribe or verify them accurately and efficiently into the pharmacy computer system.
• Accurately compound and dispense pharmaceuticals.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
• Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing nonformulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promotes rational drug therapy selection.
• Provide accurate and timely medication information to healthcare staff and patients.
• Assist with clinical services such as drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulant monitoring, pain management, IV to PO, renal dosing and other programs as defined by Pharmacy Leadership.
• Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
• Complete notification reports regarding medication errors and adverse drug reactions.
• Effectively supervise pharmacy operation activities and provide support to the whole pharmacy team.

• Open to New Grad Pharmacists that completed an internship in a hospital setting. Looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of recent hospital experience or the completion of a PGY-1 in a hospital setting. *MUST HAVE ACUTE HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST YEAR
• B.S. or PharmD from and ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required
• Minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate Florida State Board of Pharmacy

• How long has it been open? Nights role has been open for 92 days. Mixed Shift role has been open for 35 days * As of 6/4/25
• How many total beds are in the unit? N/A – Candidate will be working in Central Pharmacy
• What are the qualities that you like and dislike in candidates that you have seen so far? We like self-starters who are able to back up what they say. We have a transfer from Trident who is already working somewhat independently. If they have HCA experience from the past, that is a major plus. Someone who can demonstrate that they know what they're talking about. They have disliked candidates who lack hospital experience. It's such a fast-paced environment with high acuity patients that hospital experience is extremely valuable.
