Coordinates all scheduling, purchasing, reporting, payroll, safety, and inventory. Compensation $65,000 to $75,000 (exempt) Reporting Relationship Reports to: Director of Operations Supervises: Landscaping workers Quality Standards Conduct individual and business affairs in highest ethical and legal fashion. Establish and contribute to a supportive, creative, enthusiastic, and cooperative working environment for all. Build strong communication links with supervisors, peers, and employees. Continuously strive for excellence in the workplace, the Company environment, and as a Company representative. Comply with all Company policies and standards. Conducts business in alignment with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Pūlama Lāna‘i. Responsibilities Essential Duties Oversees the Landscaping operation; which includes coordinating, scheduling, payroll, purchase reporting, safety, and inventory control. Responsible for the purchasing of landscape materials, ensuring adequate supplies and materials for all on-going planned projects. Responsible for maintaining the inventory for all Landscaping projects. Plans and schedules both staffing and equipment utilization to support the landscaping activities. Provides training, support, direction and guidance to staff. Reports all maintenance and repairs required for equipment to the Fleet Department and follows up on all repairs. Responsible for taking pest control measures, scheduling pesticide applications as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualification/Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Requires 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in Landscaping. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Requires excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner. Requires working to the established procedures and maintaining reliable work attendance. Requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Able to think and make effective decisions quickly. Ability to create effective working relationships with employees. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude and work under pressure. Required Work Cards/Certifications Current State of Hawaii Pesticide Applicators Certification Valid Hawaii Driver’s License and successful review of Motor Vehicle Record Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, and color vision. The employee is occasionally required to operate objects, tools, or controls.
