onsemi is seeking a
Facilities maintenance mechanic in our Gresham, OR site. You will report directly to the facilities manager and will be required to perform a variety of preventative and corrective maintenance activities to support the facility.
This opportunity is for a night shift position following a compressed work week schedule (12-hour shifts), 7:00 pm - 7:06 am, with the expectation to be flexible and cover vacations/callouts on opposing shifts. D shift Wednesday, Thursday, Friday e/o Saturday 7:00 PM-7:06 AM Responsibilities Responsibilities include: \n - Works on moderately complex assignments requiring judgment to resolve problems and make recommendations.
\n - Support the maintenance, operation, and repair of all systems, subsystems, and equipment within the onsemi campus.
\n - Ensure all equipment and associated subsystems are operational and maintained.
\n - Evaluate the operation of all systems and associated subsystems, identify specific process improvement needs, and provide recommendations for system upgrades.
\n - Perform Confined Space Entry on an as-needed basis.
\n - Perform troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
\n - Utilize CMMS software to document and report all maintenance activities and complete maintenance activities and documentation in a timely manner.
\n - Work near hazardous chemicals, high- and low-temperature liquids, gases, and machinery/equipment.
\n - Provide diagnostics, repair, and modifications of industrial Equipment.
\n - Work directly with Facilities Engineering on system installations or modifications that may maximize equipment efficiencies and or reliability.
\n - Control room operations and responsibilities include monitoring plant operations and reacting to complex issues that may arise.
\n - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including chilled and hot water, process cooling water, compressed air, exhaust systems, fire suppression systems, cleanroom, and non-cleanroom HVAC equipment.

Qualifications Qualifications \n - High School Diploma or GED.
\n - Minimum of 2 years related experience.
\n - Able to work 7:00 PM - 7:06 AM), with the expectation to cover other shifts based on business needs.
\n

Skills Required \n - Must be able to stand/work for up to 12 hours, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
\n - Willing and able to perform work from a ladder or man lift.
\n - Able to operate motorized vehicles, Trucks, Forklifts, and personnel lifts
\n - Must be able to work from detailed blueprints, drawings, sketches, technical manuals, and building codes.
\n - Able to follow work orders and written or verbal instructions.
\n - Ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, peers, customers, and constituents.
\n - Able to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
\n - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n - Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively.
\n - Self-motivated and able to work independently.
\n - Ability to navigate Microsoft Office products
