Job Title Customer Service Specialist What does a successful Customer Service Specialist do at Fiserv? At Fiserv, a successful Customer Service Specialist is dedicated to meeting and exceeding client expectations through the delivery of excellent service. This role involves collecting outstanding debts via telephone in a call center environment, establishing rapport with merchants, and negotiating payment terms in compliance with all regulations. What you will do:

• Collect outstanding accounts via telephone in a call center environment
• Utilize both manual and automatic telephone dialing systems to contact merchants
• Establish rapport with merchants to overcome objections and negotiate debt payments
• Document all discussions and actions in a tracking system or database
• Confirm payment arrangements and finalize calls
• Work on special projects as assigned

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of customer service experience
• 2+ years of collection experience
• 2+ years of call center experience
• High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent military experience
• Experience with computer systems and accessing information to provide data to clients

What would be great to have:

• Previous work experience in payment processor collections, bank collections, credit card collections, or any related field
• Bi-lingual French
• Experience handling special projects such as administrative tasks and working off ticketing system
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
